Hi guys, hope this is in the right forum area.

Is there an easy/not bank breaking and legal way to get BBC Brit/Earth from the UK. My box has an embedded Conax CAM but all has a CI module so an additional CAM would be OK. In terms of birds i can see most things between 27.5w and 42e (i have an 80cm dish).

Thanks in advance

Ben

What do you consider a suitable price?

these are the providers that carry BBC Earth:

Search Results for - KingOfSat

Most of the packages are fairly easily available in the UK although you will pay a hefty middleman fee if you use a UK based reseller. Some of our forum sponsors sell the packages so have a look at them and see if any of them have a price you are happy with

I've seen a nC+ package (comfort+) for about 80 euro. Anyone know what CAM this uses? And if I can use a generic cam and reciever or do I need one provide by the channel operator?
Thanks

The Pulsat site says its a paired card/cam. So add another 50 quid or so onto the base cost price.

Make sure the channels you desire are in the package you choose!

Or use Cardsplitter direct in Poland, much much cheaper and 100% reliable.

I was using the Pulsat site as a source of info about the status of the card / cam pairing.

Can I also ask that anyone looking to buy cards cams etc has a look at what the forum sponsors are offering - these companies support the forum so we can stay free for all our members.

Just for the record, are all of the forum sponsors listed under the staff members section ( under the main " Members " section ) or are there others? Some may not know how to find them as the pop up ads change from refresh to refresh.

Not your fault, when I stated pop ups I meant top and bottom of the page adverts, not the same as " pop ups " !
Along with all the other ads we come across, I have 16 Russian and 8 Romanian wives now, please don´t tell the Asian ones!
Still think it would be helpful is someone could tell us how to find the sponsors!

Not a problem. its only fair for me to remind visitors & members to please check out our advertiser / sponsor friends as they help keep the forum going.

There should also be advertiser header ads at the top of the forum. All these guys help pay for the running of the forum. Everything goes into the running costs of the servers etc. None of the staff here take a bent eurocent as pay.
