They really are trying hard to get everyone onto SkyQ or Stream arent they. We will be moving over to Freesat & streaming once our HD+ box fails - Im not continuing to pay the sub once this box expires.

They really are trying hard to get everyone onto SkyQ or Stream arent they. We will be moving over to Freesat & streaming once our HD+ box fails - Im not continuing to pay the sub once this box expires.
It's so they can switch off satellite around 2030. Sky Q can be repurposed as a streaming only device

The same streaming that can be obtained from the apps on any tv of course. Which is where out streaming will be originating. Im not giving Sky access to that sort of data.

Sky are trying to keep a walled garden, not going down the app route but requiring either a sky stream device or the silly Sky glass TV. Not sure it will work. Like you, many will just dump Sky altogether
