not available yet , but it will be quite similar to that of HB 8 & 9 , because these 3 sats are identical in no. of tps , weight and coverage maps .sykosocket said:can someone post an image of the latest beam if available ?
Very similar to 8 & 9 (13B & C) as they were designed to be identicalsykosocket said:can someone post an image of the latest beam if available ?
But that wouldn't explain the temporary loss of individual transponders as shown in tempo's spectrum scans. I'm also seeing a 1dB gain on some (not all) old 13A transponders here in Helsinki while others on B and C stay the same.pikmaxx said:I dont think that the switch over was carried out last night , the increase in the signal power may be due to the slight shift of Hb 6,8&9 positions to adjust the position of the new member of Hot Bird family , HB 10 ( Eutelsat Hot Bird 13D ) , HB 6 is at 12.94 E now , HB 8 at 12.98 E & HB 9 at 12.95 E .
There are no known spot beams on 13A, but the question is how far south will the current wide beam be skewed, and if it's too far south it'll make it harder to receive in the UK. It shouldn't be long before we find out.Laser said:When HB 13A moves to 8 west to be co located... Does this satellite have spot beams or wide beams? What I am trying to say will we be able to view the channels hear in Europe as opposed to Steerable Beams which Eutelsat 8 west has
