You shouldn't have any issues receiving 53E in Scotland with a 1.2m Fibo - it's not an exceptionally weak satellite. Perhaps it's a line of sight issue as it's relatively low in the sky, especially from oop noorf.

Express AM6 has started broadcasting today with channels on 3676 R 33483 which is full copy of tp from 96.5°E.

AM22: European beam, Wide European (incl. W-Russia), and Steerable beam 2 (Arab/Iraqis above 12.5 GHz) are all Europe-friendly footprints.

AM6: Fixed beam 1 will be the Russian beam, the footprint doesn't even want to cross the border with Poland or Romania...
Fixed beam 2 (ME/Europe) will be filled again with the Arab/Iraqis I guess.

Expecting the worst for Ku-band...
Made some Crazyscans today, just to remember AM22.

I can get as far east as 62 east with 2 transponders of scrambled Russian channels. I used to get NHK Tokyo here in the analogue days (anybody remember this one from 1995?).

Although I get the 3 channels at around 1519H strong (one is at 14db) the other channels come through 4 to 5 decibels.

This may have moved to AM-6 ? gone now looks like they are moving transponders over I will check on my signal readings for 53 east from last week.
