Kimi Raikkonen has signed a 1 year WRC deal with Citroen.

Interesting to see if he is even on the ball here..

My prediction is that there will be no British Grand Prix in 2010. It has been quite obvious to me that Bernie Ecclestone has not wanted one for a number of years and even offering a contract to Donnington with so little time to get funding, in the in the middle of a world recession simply meant that there was never a hope even with prayer. Then at the 11th hour offering a lifeline to Silverstone for next years race but then demanding them signing a full multiyear contract is just ridiculous. Bernie should have reduced the number of years it was offered back to Silverstone and reduced his fees in the circumstances of thecurrent climate but he is only interested in his pension not the actual sport

The top ten finishers in a Grand Prix will score points next season under a new system expected to be ratified by the FIA World Motor Sport Council on Friday. The proposed amendment, put forward due to the expanded grid of 13 teams for 2010, was agreed by the F1 Commission on Thursday. Under the new system, the race winner will take 25 points, with 20 and 15 being awarded for second and third places respectively. The next seven finishers will score 10, 8, 6, 5, 3, 2 and 1 point respectively...

Sounds like a good idea, if it encourages more aggressive driving then I'm all for it.

They should also be awarding points for pole & fastest lap.

Good move here - former Formula 1 drivers are to become part of the group of stewards who will adjudicate at each grand prix

Oh sod - he is coming back:

So 2010 will see all the coverage being the Schumi show and anything else will be secondary :(

I'm not so sure, IMO the standard of racing has improved since he retired, I think he'll struggle to cope with the competition to begin with.
