It's going to be close between henkamania and Ruby Reds, after qualifying the difference is 9pts in favour of @Jimmy H's team, only fastest lap and tyre points will determine who wins. Even if Prime tyres get the win I think I'll still need fastest lap points to have a chance o_O

Seems a bit unfair, we should share the trophy.
The tiebreaker is the 'pos. index' rating which appears to be based on average race position in the overall PFRL World Championship. As your pos. index is better than mine I'm happy for you to be the sole winner :)

Well done to our top 3. :-respekt

Well season 2024 is over, the thread will now revert to off season chat until the new game starts in late February or early March.

I have to admit Im not liking the ever more blatant Americanisation of the sport Ive followed for decades. Im losing interest in F1 every season as Liberty screw around with it in an attempt to make it entertainment pandering to modern audiences with the attention span of a geriatric goldfish, rather than the sport I love

:(

I have to agree, they are slowly strangling and killing the sport, the FIA are in total disarray, perhaps that is having the wrong person at the top but as with all sport money talks and the current boss has an endless supply. I do not see why driver fines do not happen when the average driver gets £1M per race and others a lot more than that. Penalties are murdering competitive but fair driving whilst flouting the rules and driving aggressively like a madman out to kill does not seem to be under scrutiny even when the recipient of that aggression fails to finish the race. I say hurt them in their pockets by fining then 25% of their race fee not just their penalising their egos.

Congratulations to you both, I shot myself in the foot by missing quali too may times

Indeed and it now seems like the FIA wants to change its rules and be able to just sweep scandal and corruption under carpet :-ohmy
