I tend to agree with you, but maybe Karun Chandhok's detailed review of the accident may show that Grosgen himself may not have been entirely to blame, i.e.:In the voice of BBC Newcastle commentator John Anderson: He's a lucky, lucky boy.
It was an absolute miracle he didn't die from the impact, didn't get sliced by the barrier and then managed to escape the inferno without help. As for the move which initiated the crash, it was typical Grosjean...
- his onboard camera showed that Kimi was off the track to his left, but likely to come back on right in front of him
- he almost certainly couldn't see Kyvat behind him but quite far to his right, and thus out of the view from his righthand mirror
- it looked like a piece of carbon fibre from Stroll's car was going under his right front wheel and might well puncture the tyre and so he was trying to avoid that.
OTOH, I wouldn't have thought that he should have been voted Driver of the Day!
