15.00pm The Mummy (PG) 1932 Drama / Fantasy / Horror / Romance
In 1921 a field expedition in Egypt discovers the mummy of ancient Egyptian prince Im-Ho-Tep, who was condemned and buried alive for sacrilege. Also found in the tomb is the Scroll of Thoth, which can bring the dead back to life. One night a young member of the expedition reads the Scroll out loud, and then goes insane, realizing that he has brought Im-Ho-Tep back to life. Ten years later, disguised as a modern Egyptian, the mummy attempts to reunite with his lost love, an ancient princess who has been reincarnated into a beautiful young woman.

The Man in the Iron Mask (1977) (TV) (PG ) Adventure
A mysterious prisoner proves to be a key player in a battle to control the fate of 17th-century France. Hugely enjoyable swashbuckling adventure, starring Richard Chamberlain in a dual role — as both the masked jailbird and the despotic French ruler. Patrick McGoohan, Louis Jourdan, Jenny Agutter and Ian Holm number among the starry supporting cast. Adapted from the classic story by Alexandre Dumas, and directed by Mike Newell (888)
18.20pm Howards End (PG) 1992 Drama
Acclaimed Merchant-Ivory period drama based on EM Forster's novel about the conflict between two families from vastly different backgrounds who become fatefully entwined. Starring Emma Thompson in an Oscar-winning role alongside Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Helena Bonham Carter and Sam West (888)
21.00pm The Godfather: Part II (18) 1974 Crime / Drama
Francis Ford Coppola's Academy Award-winning sequel to his acclaimed gangster movie — one of just a few sequels to outdo their originals. Al Pacino returns as Michael Corleone, who sets out to clinch a make-or-break deal with an ageing gangster — but finds his plans torn apart by a traitor within the family. The plot is intercut with flashback sequences chronicling the early life of Michael's father Don Vito, played by Oscar-winner Robert De Niro, as he makes the shift from immigrant grocery store clerk to Mafia bigwig. Also starring Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, John Cazale and Lee Strasberg
00.40am The Crazies (18) 1973 Action / Horror / Thriller / Drama / Sci-Fi
The US Army moves in to investigate a mysteriously infected water supply, only to find it has had a sinister effect on the people who've drunk it, turning them into murderous marauders. Night of the Living Dead director George A Romero's blood-splattered sci-fi horror doesn't quite match the standard of the classic zombie chiller, but there's plenty to keep genre aficionados hooked. Lane Carroll, Will MacMillan and Harold Wayne Jones star
