Filtering DECT phones

Have some results arrived, yet?

I have the exact same interference at the same frequencies. I have 2 feeds off the dish; one through a v box one not. The ok next through the v box has the interference. I switched off dect phones in the house but stiil had the problem. I changed thev box to a different make (not much choice out there these day) but still had the problem. Unfortunately, I suspect to the neighbor through the wall has a dect phone and I can't do anything about that. I even attempted to build a Faraday cage around the v box with no success. After that I ran out of ideas except for purchasing next door to rent witha non dect clause in the agreement!

Did you remember and take the batteries out the handset(s) as I didn't like a complete numpty the first time round lol

New co-ax cabling might help shield it a little, otherwise the only real solution is to move your V-Box, and possibly your receiver, further from the interference.
Explain the problem, to your neighbour, and ask them to unplug their DECT telephone, from the mains, if they have one, for 5 minutes, just to test that the problem is with their telephone.
If this test confirms that their telephone is the problem, try your DECT telephone, in their house, to see if simply replacing the phone cures the problem, some DECT telephones are worse than others, and some are illegal.

Just get Siemens Gigaset and your won't have an issue :)
