James Vann, landlord at the Toll Gate Inn on Seymour Grove in Old Trafford, and Stephen Roy Moss, licencee at The Highfield pub on Ripponden Road in Oldham, were brought to court for showing the games televised by Sky without a commercial agreement with the broadcaster

Rogue landlords have been shown the red card in court for televising Premier League games without permission. Two licensees were fined more than £7,000 for infringing copyright in separate cases before magistrates.
