No point buying a receiver until you know if the programming you want is actually available! :D

if you can find out which satellite these are on and the transponder details -
i could probably tell you if a 1 metre channel master dish would do the job or not -- there are not many C band channels strong enough to recieve with that size of dish -

i cant find the original pics -- a u.s.b. hard drive failed recently i think they were on that --
my 1 metre channel master dish is not in use at the moment -
if you post back with the channel details - i could set it up temporary for C band at the weekend - and see if what you are wanting to recieve is possible --
and then take new pics of the setup .

Around a 3m dish required for 58W c-band here in Europe - the downlink power is pathetic (about 34dBW)

A well set up 1.8 is big enough for about 95% of C band transponders from 58W..
maybe the odd one or two on a 1.2/1.5 ..
but a 1 mtr ..I'd say was out of the question.

Must be putting out more power than the official footprint map in that case. :)
