hey mate i get signal on the STB and can hear the sound clearly but when i stream it to pc and play with vlc player its very glitchy for some reason,
you reckon its something to do with codecs?
4:2:2 feeds normally work otherwise

Don't know what might be the reason for that. Have you installed some of the latest VLC versions? Signal is bad for me, but it's due to a bad weather outside.

yea got latest vlc player and codecs pack,
but its a bit cloudy so maybe that might not help lol!

yea got latest vlc player and codecs pack,
but its a bit cloudy so maybe that might not help lol!

VLC and ffdshow is still not the best at decoding H.264 4:2:2 I had no problems using DIVX codec which is also free.

DVBViewer but it should be okay with any direct show player. Might be best to use Media Player Classic.
