I would like to thank my mini fridge, without whom I would have had to move from the sofa to the kitchen to get beers during the races.

I would also like to thank :

Bernie for his silly CGI "MS Paint" adverts plastered all over the place this year.

Maverick for the usual running of the game.

AS for badgering people to join the league...

And everyone else for making up the numbers :-)

So, I take it I have to have Lotus cars and drivers all of next season then...

You should be so lucky - you are only permitted Caterham & Marussia items (or whatever their 2015 incarnations are) next session :D


The league should open in a couple of months - this thread will revert to the usual off season chat now until I can set the 2015 game up

I am not really into F1, but recently I have found feeds on 7E when the qualifier's are on, but only talk, does anyone watch the feeds/know they turn up please, if there is any interest I could post my findings here, I do know it is the end of season, but I could bear it in mind for the new start up.

Well done to everyone who took part in the league this year, especially the top three. I was hoping that at least one of my teams would finish in the top ten but sadly Nico (or rather his car) let me down in this last race. Frustrating when I'd been on pole several times this season but failed to convert that into good race points. Congrats to Lewis though, who's been top class this season...

Well done everyone, I started the season with top spot for a number of races having done my winter research but never quite got to grips with it after the points recalculation.

According to Planetf1 the admins are talking of a potential buyer for Caterham who's linked to F1. Any guesses? RB? Flavio (didn't his lifetime ban get lifted)? Anyone else?

Left field guess >>>> Fernando Alonso. Despite all the noise, he has not been officially announced as a McLaren Driver and he has made a number of cryptic remarks about his future in recent weeks.

Must have been a heck of a hit on the wall at the speeds they go around that final corner...

Korean Grand Prix returns on new 21-race 2015 Formula 1 calendar

The FIA has announced that the Korean Grand Prix is set to return to the Formula 1 calendar for 2015, pushing the number of races up to 21.
The Korean race's status was highlighted as 'to be confirmed'.

After just one season, the FIA has confirmed that double points and standing restarts have been scrapped....... After they realised that it still wouldn't make Ferrari win

Had to laugh to myself when I saw Caterham have been given permission to run the 2014 car next year. I fail to see how making them even more uncompetitive will help find a buyer......

Has anyone taken look at Formula E? I haven't, yet, but 3rd race of their season is on ITV4 Saturday at 17:00. Some familiar drivers.... Vergne, Senna, Buemi

I saw the one from China where there was a last corner accident. Though it's a Formula to be encouraged inasmuch as it's promoting alternate technology, there's something weird about single seaters that only whine when they go past....(the exception being Sebastian Vettel in his Red Bull this season who whined when it didn't work properly)
