You're probably right, but shirley this unexpected opportunity is serendipitous? Can he resist the temptation to seek a berth with real winning potential, after the turgid experiences with the Honda underpowered McLaren?
And his putative work as Ambassador is surely far more easily set aside than the Driving contracts some of the other likely lads have?
But we shall know soon, I guess: Merc would be foolish not to get Rosberg's replacement to work straight after New Year, if not sooner.
