According to reports, Fernandos concussion had him thinking he was back aged 15 and racing karts...took a few days for him to fully regain his memories -

Scarey...no wonder they are taking it easy with him

Well the Australia race was a bit of a farce wasnt it? Only 15 starters and 2 more eliminated on the first lap!

At least Arnie was good on the podium interviews... much better than other "guest" interviewers

I enjoyed proceedings, on the whole, but was mightily unimpressed that two of my Drivers broke down on the way to the Grid and another retired after a failed pit-stop. Fortunately my efforts were rescued by none other than Sauber! Who'd have thought it?

I give up, I'm all of a sudden £14m in the red ( Aqua Minerale ) I have no idea why, is it a penalty for doing something right for once? I do not understand why, can someone please enlighten me.

"Extraordinary Adjustment" ................ IIRC, Topper fell foul of this last year.

After three races, Maverick recalculates the values in the light of form, to better reflect the actuality.

It's stated in the rules (Somewhere!)

Very true to life, if you bear in mind the FIA often act to attempt to counteract a runaway winner artificially.

and again this year and last year I never recovered from it, I still maintain it is a penalty for doing your homework over the winter and no amount of explanation will dissuade me from that opinion

A good informative Crashtor Maldonado site....

http://hasmaldonadocrashedtoday.com/

"I define a 'crash' as contact that instantly ends a car's session.
The Chinese Grand Prix was right on the limit, but since they were both able to drive away, I decided it was more of an 'assisted spin'"

Yeah, but he still managed to reverse into poor old Button, though.

I saw Maldonado's defensive moves as breaking the regulations because he moved to defend twice so the penalty is on the wrong driver, but then JB can do no nothing wrong

First of all, nobody has been penalized. Believe it or not, but the bigger your minus is, the better is your team. You have done a good job before race 3!

I had to increase the prizes of a few components (especially Sauber) because of their underrating. But I also decreased the values of the McLaren components to their current level.

The negative cash balance is caused by too expensive components (because of the extraordinary adjustment). That's why you have 5 free changes for race 4. Now you have the opportunity to create a new strong team. Instead of Sauber you can pick Lotus, McLaren, Manor or Toro Rosso components.

For the game play it was really necessary to revalue some components. Thank you for your understanding.

I am sorry I refer you to my previous post, people who researched over the winter testing period and could skillfully work out the best combination are now not able to use those components because you have made them too expensive to use so that is a penalty on those that do their research. A fairer system would be to do this every three races until the end of the season, a bit like a safety car bunching up the pack

Now that is interesting. My Team "Tom34-v2" must be really good then, my minus is....... 24 Mio
and my team is on position, hold your breath, 23! Wow, that's really good.

My other team is on Position 3 and has 11 Mio minus. I chose Felipe Nasr who was worth 8 Mio in race 3 and now is worth 25 Mio. So for choosing drivers that turn out to be better as expected, I have to change my whole setup? I am glad that that is not a penalty but an adjustment.
I guess I'll do the proper adjustment and pull out my teams
