That would be a FSFS (Freesat from $ly) card. Unfortunately only available from Sky themselves unless you can find one on the second-hand market somewhere.

EDIT just noticed that it's £25 now.

The word was that they were phasing those out sometime next year.

Not surprised ............... they provide very little benefit to UK viewers these days. Of course, our Expat fringe friends can benefit from the ability to get non-2D ITV Regions etc.

So perhaps the pre-loved market for white FSFS or ex-subs Cards will attract an even bigger Premium in the future.

Like vintage wine.

The more that gets drunk, the more the remainder rise in value!

That Panny appears to have a Freeview tuner built in (not Freesat - which is what this discussion is about) - you will need to hook it up up to a tv aerial that receives Freeview transmissions.

Understood. Thanks again for the advice and clarification.

I presume that, from the link given, you are replacing an old yellow house FSFS card. Or did you manage to find a way to order a brand new card as the OP might want to do?

Paul If you use that link then click on "don't have a card" then you fill in the details and get a card for £20. Or at least that is what I did 1 month ago

Does a SKY Freesat card have to be paired to a specific SKY Digibox, if so what is the SKY phone number to call for that?
Thanks,
Carole

It's just dropped through the letter box, so £20 is still the going rate.

I gave my Pace box with card away to a Corrie deprived Corfu friend last Autumn so have got a cheapo box from Ebay to replace it.

Not paired, as such: The number to call for Activation comes with the letter that comes with the card - when you call, they will ask for the box serial number etc. but this is to purely to enable Activation. Once Activated, the Card can be freely used in any Box.
