I prefer Tripping the Rift, I personally find some of these American animated series to be too politically correct, and American idealised.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Recommissioned again? :-rofl2

Still, I love Futurama, when I actually get to see it that is, one of MG's best creations, aside from The Simpsons... :D

The pilot episode says it all.

I actually think they actually satire (can you say that??) the American culture but in a nice way.

Tripping the Rift is a lot better than that pilot, even the opening credits are humourous, poking fun at lots of Sci Fi genres, including R2D2 as a vacuum cleaner, enterprise as a remote controlled toy and even using the black monolith from 2001 A Space Odyssey !!!!!!
Add to that you even get female cartoon nudity, unlike all American cartoons which only ever show naked male backsides, but each to their own taste:)

It keeps popping up on AXN Sci Fi, Digi TV, runs the full series over a few weeks then disappears again.
Here is a link to a DVD movie preview, doesn't look as good as some of the episodes though, but look out for a very brief appearance by six, chodes s_x android, the one with the blue hair:)

Just noticed that AXN Sci Fi are repeating Tripping the Rift episodes at 2:30 AM, British Summer Time, worth recording a few to compare to Futurama.
They only last just over 20 minutes, and like most cartoons, and general television programmes, they are hit and miss, but there are some quite humorous episodes.
