Have you looked in The Guide?
I am a complete newbie and am currently overwhelmed by the amount of information out there, all of which I'm trying to take on board. I want to do everything under the sun with my 7025, but it's tricky knowing where to start.
'The Guide'? Is that the user guide? or an internet resource that those in the know refer to in hushed tones?
I'm not new to linux, but I'm a bit of a duffer - I will readily admit that my aspirations far exceed my knowledge and ability.
I figured I had a right result when I managed to create an NFS share on my redhat server and mount it on the dreambox - that works beautifully.
I still have to properly align my dish - I get 260 odd channels in the search at the moment - half are at 13deg and the others at 19.2 - so I figure I must be at about 15deg with a roughly correct elevation. I'm planning on using the snr display from the dreambox to help me line up. Then I may get myself a motorised mount. But that's all to be done on a far warmer day.
In the meantime and on these cold and early nights, I'd like to experiment with cam's and emus - but I don't know the first thing about them.
