Thanks, Danny worked it out but no luck I used a phone app satellite tracker and elevation meter and by the app am now aligned with Apstar 6 but still, no signal do you think maybe my LNB may need turning slightly.

It must have been Apstar. SR is 28800. The secondary satellite has SR 30000.

If you can provide flights and accomodation, I'll put one in the handhold luggage.

Give CH the chance to fly "t'other side of the World" f.o.c. and then fill him with a few beers and/or some decent red wine (after he's "fixed" your dish of course, or else it might be pointing at the Sun! :D ) and I think he'd "live with" the Aussie flies and dust :-rofl2

If the flying to Australia is a bit like taking a liberty, then I don't mind taking one of those cruise thingies via boat, but sorting out the dish would take a bit longer to fix.

I have managed to find but one satellite with my new sat meter and it was all Indian channels

What channel names, for instance? And under what frequencies and polarity?

BTW, the Strong SRT4330 receiver has just MPEG-2, I just read, and for TV3 Cambodia you need MPEG-4; so you'd need a more modern receiver I guess.
(But I didn't re-read the whole topic, so I might be wrong?)

Does your satellite meter support DVB-S2/MPEG-4? Then for FINDING 1939V-frequency you are OK.

Hi A33
Thanks for the reply here is a picture of the front of the receiver I have.
What I did see tonight surfing the net is Lyngsat shows free to air for Cambodia but another site
Satbeams shows none, I think someone may have mentioned that earlier so maybe they don't exist.
Getting a bit confused.
Should I be able to receive HD channels and the MPEG-4 it does have it on the bottom left of the reciever.?
Also how do I tell if my LNB is universal or single and do my settings above look correct.
Sorry for the questions but feel I am maybe looking for something that doesn't exist :(
cheers

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
The information for the 4052 H transponder on Apstar 6C looks to be up to date on lyngat, several of the channels you were first looking at and receiving (CTN Cambodia) changed last year to HD on that transponder, but one channel still is still in SD.

The HD channels are now in MPEG-4 DVS-2, the new symbol (SR) rate is now 10400, the FEC is still 3/4, there is one channel still in SD (CNC) it is still in MPEG-2, however the channels RF modulation has changed to 8PSK, this may be your problem.

I don't see in your receiver specifications that it can receive 8PSK type modulation, all it can do is QPSK, unless there has been a hardware change, or an add on card for the higher channel modulation your stuck.

Do you have a spec sheet for that receiver? As the one I looked at may be out of date, it shows all it can do is MPEG-2, QPSK.

This is all I can come up with as far as a manual for that receiver.

Also how do I tell if my LNB is universal or single and do my settings above look correct.

Your LNB shows LOF as 5150MHz, which means it is OK for C-band reception.
Also your settings look OK: no cause from problems. (22K could be OFF, I think.)

There are two issues now I believe:
1. To what satellite is you dish aimed ATM? Is it the 134E? Please name the channels you receive, + frequencies.
2. What can your receiver receive? (No DVB-S2 I think, but MPEG-4?? And 8PSK?? Maybe doubtful...)
Edit: all C-band transponders list 'DVB-S2', I just noticed. So I think you've little chance with this receiver....

Your satfinder-list of 134E:
there is no 3720, no 3840,
3919V has SR: 1200 (not 1920),
etc.
....You can check all these values on the lyngsat page yourself.... (C-band is the values till 4167H.)
So, now you learn where to look on the lynsat page, as to what is important to you?

Edit2: Your SatKing satfinder SK3200 can manage DVB-S2, MPEG-4 and QPSK/8PSK/16PSK, I read.
So FINDING the right signal should be possible. Just not WATCHING it, with this receiver....
