humax 5400 question

Hi Psats, just very quickly, the bin files, where do you generally get them from, all the sites I know have specific files like TIT, DS9 , 6-1, can I use any of these BINS? As I have no card I dont know what one to use.

Also while I upload the bin to the receiver the card that I have inside is a very old silver Fun card that used to work is that okay?

ok I uploaded the patch ok, I uploaded the file ok, however Im using Humbox 4.1 and HNFsmart to upload the lastest HB settings, however its saying connecting to the box but it stops. The com port is correct and the speed is okay, I tried from Box to PC and that works....any idea?

what im doing is loading the channel hnf file swithcing the STB off, press transfer then the PC to STB box try to connect, swith the box on, and it says transfering however the STB says E - Id??

hi recheck the setting in edit options model sounds like its set to wrong one
mines set to {00160000}

check against your info in the receiver

If your humax is a ver that is patched.?if you were useing a ds9card IT IS so all you will need is a new chnl list and the new hot patch its got a emulator for s2

I have patched it with 3.3 and i just done an antenna search for now, however Im having trouble uploading the new bin file i got which is papgenRam, Im using DSR, but when I right it goes to 100% with or with the lead, therefore I dont think its writing to the STB succesfully.

did you set it for humax the dsr in the ? plus the receiver is best on a fta chnl and make sure the card is in the slot ok.
upload the bin then turn rec off via remote then back on

oen dsr check its set for humax def
openwhere bin is load bin then right to hummy

?have you been to menu toh config caid preset and set it to card+emu..?
