i bought some from TLC for £17 , went for 24" to be sure.

have also got a scaffold pole for £5 so all good to go when installer comes tomorrrow night....

Hopefully he will wire in the house as opposed to chucking the wire over the roof...

as im having it in 2 rooms, 1 down at the front and 1 at the back up stairs..

A 5ft pole doesn't sound very long, assuming 2ft between brackets, 1ft from the top bracket to the top of the gutter, 2ft remaining and the motor hangs down say 7-8" to the point where the middle of the dish is clamped.

oh damn, think ive messed up here.

my satellite man said get a 4ft pole so i went with 5 just to be sure....

your right it might not be long enough, ffs....

if no good ill have to put up my old aluminimum pole for the time being which is about 8 or 9ft...

then get him back to put a longer scaffold pole in the future, know what i mean? dont have time to source another pole, hes coming tomorrow.
