I'm not convinced those Intelsat footprint maps for 10-02 are very accurate. For example, I shouldn't have any problems with Spot 3 in Finland (about 51dBW in the north and about 53dBW in the south according to official footprint maps) and yet the signal levels are way down compared to the Thor satellites. I can only just receive spot 3 with no rain margin in the north of Finland on a 60cm dish and in the south my 35cm dish only get part time reception. The Thor satellites come in nice and strong on both dishes (which is what I mainly want anyway).
Thanks, Satesco. So basically nothing usefull.
However it is quite strange I haven't been able to get a lock with 6.3 dB while you got it with 5.6 dB. Which card did you use?
Two more feeds activated on the spot 2. The signal is at the limit at this time.
For this feed, I used the tbs6983 card.
I scanned the horizontal polarity again.

A Radio-New Life has been activated at 11117 H,1000,1/2, and although it has a video PID, only the radio Pid is used.
Interestingly, the provider is a TTS, which stands for Text-to-Speech. Could this be the reason why the video PID is not used?
On the other hand, it seems that Hona Baghdad now has a new symbol rate, 1480 Ks, on 11689 H.
