Fox Sports is scrambled in PowerVu and there is no way whatsoever you can watch that one. Its for distribution to cable head ends only - its not possible to get subscriptions to PowerVu encoded channels.

Ah ok - thanks for that, looks like i can still get Tv Azteca, thats a start - i´ll have a look around localy to see what the cable providers provide - hopefully one will have fox sports on. I´m mainly trying to view all the Mexican football games.
Out of intrest why do they transmit these chans if its only for cable endpoints? just to propagate to the providers? This is the same with all powerVu encoded channels - noob here, still learning (will never stop).

Its an easy and fairly cheap way to distribute the channels rathwer than having to pay for dedicated leased lines to each cable headend.

If a new service wants to take the channel they just pay the appropriate lease fee, get their PowerVu box authorised for the channel and away they go

Hi Edgar ...
Reception is poor at my QTH atm ..due to heavy rain and winds ..
However ...did get a lock on the f15 long enough to scan in 3 channels using the data you provided ..
Rede Globo provider ..
..but no images resolved so far ..
Are these 4:2:0 or perhaps 4:2:2 ?
in which case I'll need to use the TBS 6925 card ?

Best Regards
