I have ordered a Openbox X-820, I'm looking forward to get it.
Is there a good site for getting firmware for Openbox ?

Openbox X-820 is good too, but with this receiver you can not blindscanning. I´m not interesting in changig firmware, so I can´t help you for that.

Oh I thought it was the same, just with CI interface too.
Maybe I can flash it with X-810 software.
I have found a nice site with firmware.

it`s not possible blindscanning with Openbox X-820, because Hardware (Tuner chip) is different.
If you want good blindscanning with Openbox, you must buy version X-810.

I can get my dish lined up onto 13,19.2 and 28.2 degrees east but simply cannot get a signal on 16east it seems to of gone can anybody help please i live in manchester , england

I have received and installed my Openbox X-820, and the signal is better and now good enough.
I now receive KNR @ 34,5 W with S/N of 2,5 dB, and there is no problem even when the weather is snow.
One thing I dont understand is the following when I try with 3 different LNB's:

1) LNB A is a Panorama 13K, the S/N is 2,5 dB
2) LNB B is a Panorama 13K, the S/N is 1,7 dB (yes the same model as LNB A)
3) LNB C is a combined C/Ku LNB, it is called BSC621-2, the S/N is 1,8 dB

Everything is mounted on a 1,8 m PFA, a AV-COMM waveguide for conversion to liniar signals, and the feedplate from Panorama.

I don't understand why there is so much difference between A and B
Maybe I should try doctorofsat's dielectric plate.

Have made 5 tests with AV-COM waveguide kontra doctorofsat plate on RTI @ 34.5 W 3907L - SR3041

Doctorofsat:
Signal: -43 dBm
S/N: 1,9 dB
Quality: 39 %

AV-COMM:
Signal: -42 dBm
S/N: 2,0 dB
Quality: 43 %

Not much difference, but the AV-COMM take up a little signal but improve the S/N just a little bit.
I'm suprised of the good result of doctorofsat's solution, great.
