So have IOrdered ......
So have I
I have a DPD tracking number so mine shouldn't be too long, I'm looking forward to having a play with it.Mine's already reached Letchworth DPD depot (even though I didn't pay for Courier Delivery!) and should be here tomorrow.
I suspect the only real shortcoming will lie in true Series Link recording, but I can live with that.

Other than the mention of the word Amiko and Freesat you guys don’t mention what item you actually purchased, what price you paid delivered or the source of your purchase. Always nice detail for others passing through with similar requirements/
You may find a conventional HDD works ok. The GTMedia GTX Combo I have will not work properly with SSD's, but a conventional one works fine.Right. Done lots of faffing and have discovered that the SSD, (where all the Cross EPG data is stored) tends to be flaky when recording and even stopped populating the EPG screen after attempting to record - aok after a reboot.
However, there is also a USB slot, so I bunged a 64GB stick in there and now all is well: Live Pause, instant Record and Timed Record set from the EPG all work perfectly.
My conclusion is that, for £99, it's an acceptable alternative to a branded Freesat PVR

Go for a SATA. If WOS supplied the SSD it should work OK. You could try formatting in the box?SATA, or USB, or doesn't it matter?
Cheap as chips, anyway
Got mine, Where is the Quick start guide on the WOS site?Connected up. Registered for OTA Channel List, Firmware Updates and Automatic EPG refresh. Taking a few mins to do its thing.
The Quick-Start Guide is via a link from the WoS page for these boxes and is straightforward enough to follow.
