For all my friends on Satellites who know me, they'll have guessed I bought myself a iPad on launch day. Didn't wait at the Apple store - walked into Currys at 8.15am and bought one, no queue no problem!

Loved it ever since - best app I have is 'Air Video' it lets you stream in real time any media content on your Wi-Fi network to your iPad. it convert or encodes on the fly.... Watched films I have on an external HD connected to my iMac anywhere in the house!

Chris - you have to get one (if you don't already have one).

Every time I use it I find more things it can do - it's not a laptop replacement the same as the iPhone isn't just a phone.

Love it...

Anyone else have one?

P.S. Satellites.co.uk - Looks great

Would love one, Just need to convince the wife to let me part with £500 for one. I could put it thru the business ;)

Did you get the 3G version or just the wifi option ?

Just the Wi-Fi as most of my use will be a t home - friend has a wireless 3g device from '3' he carries in his pocket and gets a signal that way also my office is next to a university with open Wi-Fi.
