OK, aside from offline descrambler (im asking the programmer about that). Does anybody know the correct way of getting the boxid for NDSCAM 0.0.0.7 ? I have tried a few differnet numbers (namely the ones that were displayed in the ndscam monitor) and every time i tried to enter them they disabled the emu completely. How do i know which is the correct one? I heard doing this might allow me to get the s sports channels, i can get one of them on a different transponder from the one in the dvbviewer channel list (maybe i can get them all on a diff transponder..)

The best solution to open your premium channels will most likely be to install Cccam on a Linux distro within some VMware e.g Virtualbox on your host PC.

I already have Virtualbox running on a PC with Linux as the image. Just need to add the Cccam and run it with something like ACamd to access the Phoenix smartcard to see if that works (I now have a Premium sub - Racing UK) - which I have resubscribed to.)

Thanks for the info. Is there any way i can get CCCam with Windows? I tried Hadu but cant get it to work so far.
Are you able to record multiple channels with that setup? I read that some people have dreamboxs setup where they can record multiple premimum channels at the same time (with 1 card). This is what i need.
If you're a betting man (which you might be with racing uk) would you bet on slysports working on the setup you have currently?

The card reader needs a serial interface to work with NDSCam, so that one is not suitable.
Not easy to find one nowadays, the best I could find on a quick search is one from a German supplier -

Actually the tbs3102 has a built in USB->serial interface. The computer sees it as a com port when plugged in. so it should work with NDSCam. I havent tried it though I have just bought it.

My question is how do i know which settings to use? NDSCam asks for pheonix reader, but do I use 3.3v or 5v?
Which crystal do i use? there are the choices of 3.579MHz with 6MHz, 8MHz, 10MHz and 3.686MHz (Y5). how do i know which one to use?

I plan to use it with Alaysia) which is NDS 09ac

I think the voltage will depend on your version of the NDS card, 5V is the norm. Crystal freqiency is 3.579MHz.

NDSCam is configured to access a COM port of your PC, not through the USB port, might not work with your reader.

Forget about NDSCAM, it doesnt work very well and you cant watch the sub channels. I have the TBS card reader aswell along with a serial card reader (which ive ditched). Use NewCS and acamd instead, its much much more stable.

I have been having a lot of problems with NDScam since early December. Most of the times I can't decrypt any of the encrypted channels and when it does encrypt it only seems to be work for about 30 seconds before the picture and sound freeze.

Is there a guide somewhere on how I can get NewCD and ACamd setup in DVBViewer.

PS: Daveyboyc, I just got your PM, don't think its worth much now as you seem to have got everything setup.

It's now gotten to the point where NDScam doesn't seem to want to work ever. I have been trying for the last two days to decrypt encrypted channels with no luck. I'm hoping the log file for my NDScam will give someone an idea to whyNDScam is not working.

yeah NDScam is crap mate. just delete it.

download newcs and acamd(newcs needs to be saved somewhere like on your desktop and acamd in the "plugins" folder - MDplugins not necessary). im not really an expert but there are guides and helpful people out there that can get it working for you, they might be hard to find though as that kind of chit chat isnt exactly welcomed on most of the forums, so you might need to PM people to get info...
