ITV1+1 October 1st

I think, that on this time channel will be just blank... GMTV is on air from 6 - 9:30 (on usual ITV1, so count +1 hour to the time)...

But ITV1 is 24/7 so why the interruption on ITV1 + 1 for 3 1/2 hours, it does not stack up at all unless, as you have already noted, GM TV just don't want to be involved in the ITV1 +1

The EU covers three timezones, EET which is UTC+2 (Cyprus, Greece, Finland, etc); CET (France, Germany, Italy, etc); and UTC (UK/Eire, Portugal, Canaries). DST is in sync across the lot.

Ah right well I have misunderstood...... I was not aware that Portugal was UTC, never been there

They will have a holding card up for the time GMTV is off air - something along the lines of ITV1 +1 returns at 10.25

Seriously though, I suppose this has to come in time - but +1 channels are a bit of a cop out, I would rather see more decent programming.

Well, DMAX is even better, with +1 ; +1,5 ; +2

Well, one advantage for us over here is we cannot receive ITV4 but we can receive ITV4+1. Handy for watching some Champions league games after watching another live match on a different channel.
