What is a supermoon, when can I see the largest moon in 69 years and will it be cloudy where I live?

Currently just a smudge of light behind clouds here.

We normally have "dark skies" but, as PaulR says, it's full cloud cover oop North right now.

I'm off out to town in a few minutes and go several miles through country lanes, so if the Moon is at all visible I should see it.

I took a couple of images yesterday afternoon just after 4pm, knowing it migh be obscured tonight.
Not impressed despite moonrise a few minutes earlier.
Where do I get a refund?

Well we did see it, on the way home, but it was not as impressive as I thought it might be.
