hi all tried this sat just a while ago got africable at 43% quality also a first for me Maisha 3716H can not get it to lock with vertical polarisation.

No problems getting Maisha Today ..a good solid 6db on the F15 ..
Again this is H not V ie Left not Right...and it does help if you use the correct SR ..
NOT 2250 as claimed on Lyngsat ...but 2500 as it actually is

Intelsat 707 left 53.0 West, moving west.
According the satobs.org message above, it should soon be boosted to graveyard altitude.

So Intelsat 23 (launched 14 October 2012) is servicing 53.0 West now.

hi hvdh tried 53W a minute ago not sure if its changed yet africable is around 41% and maisha is week can not lock,flysat and lyngsat have 707 in service on their website,last time i picked africable up it was 43%.

That's strange Pride, just watching Maisha at the moment and Africable is showing 48% Q and Maisha 39%, both 84% level on the Prof. Not checked in Crazyscan for dB levels. AFAICR these signals have changed at all in the last few weeks, the only thing that has altered is the Maisha SR from 2600 to 2500.

A blind scan brings up tp 3932 which I've used as my beacon western tp for this sat but can't get a lock.
