TVEi has decided to cease transmissions via 28E for the uk market. Anyone wanting to watch the programming will need to set up a dish for Hotbird.

Translation of the TVE announcement:


Dear audience,

We confirm that from the 2nd of October TVE will cease to be broadcast on the SKY platform since the trade agreement so far maintained its validity ended on that date. After lengthy negotiations and despite having done everything possible, TVE has failed to agree on a new renewal due to large economic and organizational requirements by SKY.

We are pleased to announce that our channels are broadcasted in open and free of charge via the Eutelsat Hot Bird 8. The equipment necessary for reception consists of a satellite dish and digital decoder standard free channels. The tuning parameters are available on the site -http://www.rtve.es

We appreciate your confidence along all this time and we ask you to please subscribers of SKY as they are, they do get to them and complaints relevant since it is they who have decided to pull its offer our channel.

Five ITV1 +1 sub regions are epg testing on 11973V 27500 2/3



they are currently tagged as 7450 / 7455 / 7560 / 7565 / 7570

I know the official launch date was supposed to be 01-oct-2009 however this doesn't seem to have happened.

Does anyone know the real launch date for ITV1 +1

The old Skincity label on 12.607 H 27500 2/3 now has full trade tests for Prime Time PPV. To begin with this will be a one off transmission on epg 480 on a PPV basis. If there is enough demand it may become a regular PPV channel

MTV Networks is dropping its TMF brand in the UK and replacing it with a new entertainment channel called Viva. The channel will launch on October 26
