LA Muscle TV was renamed The Active Ch on epg 281.

Over 18 TV has been renamed Elite TV 2 on epg 914

March 29th saw Rockworld TV finally killed off - epg 378 became Lava

On the same day Sky 3D launched onto epg 217

Sky reopened the HD/3D launch queue at 10am on 30th March. There is no sign of the SD epg queue being reopened so any SD channel wanting to launch still has to buy out an existing slot.

Some changes for the religious rubbish cluttering up the nether regions of the epg:

God Europe is closing and its programme output moves from 581 to GOD Channel on 580 from April 1st

Genesis TV's output is to merge with Revelation TV Revelation TV will then move from epg 585 to 581.

Genesis TV and GOD Europe will be removed from the EPG.

S4C will start rolling out their new HD channel S4C Clirlun at the end of April. To begin with it will only be on terrestrial dtt although a satellite launch is very likely at some point.

March 30th adult epg changes:

Dirty Talk moved from epg 907 to 956

Red Hot 40+ moved from epg 921 to 907

Red Hot Fetish has moved from epg 922 to 921

Cream has moved from epg 956 to 922

Spanish language channel TeleMadrid Sat has appeared on Eurobird 1! If you want to have a look at this unusual addition tune to 12724V SR8000 FEC1/2


You wont be able to have a look at this with any Sky box due to the low SR being used. - this is a treat for folks with none Sky boxes only.

April 1st epg changes:

Men & Motors closed on epg 178. Transmission have ceased so its gone for good.

It was replaced by ITV1 HD


God Europe closed and was been removed from epg 581

Revelation moved numbers from epg 585 to 581.

Revelation TV and Genesis TV merge into one channel from this Tuesday, 6th April on channel 581. Genesis TV on 592 will close.

The March Ofcom licencing update was published a couple of days ago and some interesting new channels appeared on it:

Nickelodeon HD
Travel Channel HD
WRN TV

and half a dozen new ITV1 HD subregions:

ITV1 HD (Central)
ITV1 HD (Granada/Border)
ITV1 HD (London/LWT)
ITV1 HD (Meridian/Anglia)
ITV1 HD (Wales/West)
ITV1 HD (Yorkshire/Tyne Tees)

At the moment I cant tell if these are for satellite or dtt - I suspect satellite but the Ofcom database isnt showing them on either the dtt list or the satellite list!

Sky News HD launched onto epg 517 on April 12th. It went live for the election debate that Sky News carried on the 22nd, then went silent again! Full launch is May 6th for the results of the election.
