zorba: I believe that the Diema sports channels (as discussed above) are included in the Bulsat package.

wod: I was just reading about Premiere Sports Portal on another forum last night. It's an interactive service, so when they are showing the simulcast on the main channel, if you have an interactive box (e.g. a Dreambox) you can use the remote (green button on Dreambox) to select the match you want to watch. If you don't have an interactive box, you can still get the individual matches by manually selecting the appropriate frequencies (11720 h 27500 or 11758 h 27500 apparently), I think they appear as unnamed channels or possibly 'TV2'.

Just read that Premiere have rights to show 320 EPL matches next season = 84% of all matches! Any matches not shown on Premiere will be available on Arena in Germany. With the Premier League's big money foreign rights deal I expect other channels will be increasing their coverage next season as well. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if the prices increased to match!

Since I got my system installed I have been watching Premiere's coverage whenever possible, good picture quality and English commentary, but unfortunately not widescreen. In fact I haven't found any widescreen Premiership (apart from $ky).

Can't you get the Arena channel (including the Bundesliga games) on Premiere as well now? Blimey, EVERY SINGLE GAME LIVE!

I would not get too excited about Premiere. Although this press release Says that they can show "up to" 320 games a season it just means that they have the choice to show any of the 320 but they probably won't show anywhere near all of them. It also says that when games are in parallel (I assume that means simultaneous), they will continue with their "live highlights" where they switch between games, this indicates to me that they will not be showing all the games when they are on at the same time ie. 3pm on a saturday.

Surely Premiere are aware of the significant English market that is now avaliable to them due to ART's demise?

That 'Die Conferenz' (is that the right spelling?) thing is bloody irritating, and Premiere do have the avaliable capacity because they used to be able to show every Bundesliga game seperately.

Thought I'd bump this since its close to the end of the season, so it'll be time soon to make plans for 07/08, and hopefully much more detailed news will be filtering out soon from across Europe/Middle East.

Well it still looks like Showtime is the package to go for. They are advertising ALL 380 games next season.I'm not sure how yet because there are only three Showsports channels, although JSC sports(+1 and +2) are still there so maybe they will use those as well.
Does anybody have any info on digital Albania and their coverage next season?

I think that we aren't helping each other a great deal by not sorting our shared knowledge into one single source, so I've built up an Excel file which we can all use to collect all that we know together. Basically, download the file, add what you know to it, save, and then attach it in a post on this thread, and then the next person does the same etc etc etc.

Be careful that your information is as correct and accurate as possible, be sure to look over what's already written to correct past mistakes, and hopefully we should have a fair idea of what looks like the top package very soon.

Can anyone add info about the broadcasters mentioned in Saltys excel file and what packages they have bought the rights for? The Sky/Setanta breakdown is as follows.
