Hi,

I have an issue with my local card in my dreambox its a sly card and it is running with CCcam. I have noticed that if my internet is down the card is not working i.e. it is dependant on having connectivity to the internet as far as I am aware the card should work work without internet and i am pretty sure it has worked before. Can anyone explain this?

Your card should work fine without an internet connection. The channels that go black are those decoded by your card rather than CS?

Yes thats why I am wondering is there something weird going on with my CS that is causing my card to be dependant on the internet? The channels i recieve by CS go blank without net connection which is the way it should be or is there some kinda bug in cccam i am using the latest version.

No internet = no CS.

By local card you don't mean the card in your box?

(If you have a local card)
Try temporarily running another cam like MgCamd to see if its something to do with your CCcam.

If you can decode the channels with MgCamd, back up your CCCam.cfg file then download a new one via blue panel. Then try CCcam again, if it works, then you now know the problem lies with your CCCam.cfg file.

Otherwise, it might be worth trying different versions off CCcam (Older or newer).

Did you get this sorted?

A little feedback will help others who have the same problem in the future.
