Yep i can second that. I've replaced 2 Dark motors that failed after just 12 months of use in the last six months with either a Technomate TM2600 or TM2300.

Both TM units are good motors, and excellent value for money.

cheers nanochickin. cant knock the darkmotor done me 3-4 years with out a hitch really.
but was wondering if there was something else thats better

In my honest opinion i don't rate the Dark motor after having replaced two within 12-13 months after they were installed.

My old Technomate TM2200 is still going strong after nearly 4 years :D

Same here nano tm 2200 been up around 4yrs now . going up soon to put a black ultra dual lnb hope it lives up to the hype.
