Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
The problem I find with going with Sky News Intl for example is the meter seems to max out at 85% quality and on a 1m on that transponder, it can be off alignment and still be getting a decent signal.
Edited in various places: Again, don't know about anyone else but I'd use the "numbers" for intial alignments but then, wherever possible use a connected receiver and (22") TV for the final adjustments because I could then actually see a picture, and the difference between an alignment which was "the best" and one where it "slightly wasn't" because the dish is very slightly to one side or the other/slightly up or down from the optimum!

That's why I edited the previous post to emphasise that you need to use the weaker transponders when tweaking the settings.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

The joys of having to hide things due to nosey neighbours.
OK, but you are certain the opening to the arc isn't obscured by some bit of wall/balcony when traversing east/west ?

Can you also take imagery of the floor mount itself ?

Well, I think the issue is resolved now.

The motor mounting being out and now back to bang on level seems to have improved things.

I was just about getting lock on Badr4 before on the 85cm but now I’m at 60% quality.

The weaker TP’s on 16e are coming in stronger.

Spot 3 beam on 0.8W (4K Heritage) was around 63% before, now 70%.

I have no db readings unfortunately, the meter does not give them but it’s starting to perform how I would expect.

Thanks for the suggestion @jeallen01

That is a conservatory and the rest of the house is blocking pretty much everything past 12w.

Currently 7w is the limit, if I pull the dish back a bit more I’ll get 8W but no chance of anything else around to the west.

If I pull the dish away from that low wall where it is now, I’ll lose everything past 28.2e as the dish is dipped too low and too close to a 6ft wall.

Making good as of situation as I can here. I can’t mount it to the house and I don’t intend on being here too long. Soon as I get my own place I’ll be doing a proper cemented pole install or a t&k on the house.
