I could be wrong ... just an thought... maybe the elevation restriction on the technisat bracket maybe a issue... As its only designed for Astra sats.
Which receiver are you using ??

Noticed that when the motor is set to 0 on the receiver, its not exactly 0..

When the GotoZero or GotoRef(erence) command of the receiver doesn't bring you to zero, you can bring the motor to exactly zero, and do a motor reset. This reset would set the present motor position as the new zero.
Some receivers support the Reset command. But I believe also SG2100 type motors have a (sunk-in) button for reset. You could try that.

Thanks, I'm gonna try that next time I'm up there... although today I replaced the cheap £3 LNB with an Inverto Ultra one... no signal improvement initially but a re-scan picked up more channels and some troublesome ones seem to work better.
