Both are possible. With a zone 2 it's probably easiest to use a pole-to-pole clamp and attach a smaller pole to the 50mm one. Make sure the clamp allows for a gap between the poles so there is room to align the dish.

A zone 1 has prevision for pole mounting on its horizontal bar. May need some hole enlarging to allow a 50mm U-bolt to fit.
My old "freebie" Zone 2 mounted on a "smaller pole", which is then mounted on the 2"/50mm scaffolding pole that supports the TD110 & motor

Depending on the situation, this type of bracket might be more useful than T&K brackets - there are many different sizes, and other types of bracket, on the Tradeworks site

Are they as strong as the Ks?

I assume as the K has that triangle it would be stronger. But to be honest, I'm just assuming; I don't really have much experience and/or knowledge in this area.

I prefer the T&K over the bracket jeallen01 linked to. The separate brackets make it easier to get the pole plum, and having a good distance between them helps with stability.

It's "horses for course" w.r.t. bracketry because of the type(s) of poles to be fitted, where they are to be fitted, and the types of "loads" are to be carried - T&K are good for long poles, whereas the other sort to which I pointed may be more useful in "confined spaces" &/or where short poles are required (like the "dish farm" down my garden!).

The poles themselves may also vary - from simple straight ones to various forms of off-set "goose neck" types (e.g. the extremely offset one shown in the pic in post #18) .

for a tm-2600 motor, what bolts would I need to connect the motor to a normal round dish?

You use the bracket that comes with the dish, no extra bolts required.

I have 2 c shaped brackets only, I thought they would be to connect the motor to the pole.

I may be missing some as I didn't buy the motor brand new.

The dish will come with similar brackets. It is connected to the motor in the same way it would connect to a pole.

Post some photos of the dish or a link to the auction so we can see what is missing.

This thread was about multi lnb setup on sky dish
Are you going for motorised dish or multi lnb setup OR Both
I am Bit confused

both, well actually maybe three

I'm looking to add at least one lnb to my existing dish (28.2e) for 19.2e

Then add in a new pole
and then either install a motorised dish too, or install a zone 1/2 dish aimed at 42e and 52e on a pole, and put the motorised dish below it on the same pole

My understanding is that now the satellite will be below the sun. So say if this website is giving me 40 degrees as the elevation for the sun, and the satellite is at 20 degrees elevation. I look in the same direction, but with half the elevation right?

That's right.
However I just use the sun to get the azimuth right. And of course at sun outage period, the sun elevation equals the sat elevation; then I use the elevation.

Otherwise, when I would want to check free sight to the satellite, I'd make a construction (or a piece of paper or cardboard) with the needed elevation angle, set the bottom of that exactly horizontal in the direction of the satellite, and look along the elevation angle to where the satellite should be.

Ref the issues with 2 dishes in my post #39:

2021-04-19 -Fixing 19E & 16E.PNG
Took advantage of today's warm weather and "sorted" the problems with the 2 dishes, and as predicted:
- Zone 1 - the F-connector on the switch end of the cable from the LNB had become slightly "unscrewed" ->screwing it further on got the strong 19E channels back, and then I slightly tweaked the elevation to improve it further.
- TD88 - very slightly reduced the elevation leading to a substantial increase in signal.

"Jobs done" (at least until the "next time") :)

PS: Turns out that the LNB on the Zone 1 is the original - so it's still working after 23 yrs

PPS: I tried out that LIDL "sat bleeper" that I got last year, but almost immediately discarded it due to the infuriating "noises" and flickering needle - went back to the much repaired "DSM10" LED meter that I got from SMS in Camberly 20 yrs ago as that is much more "user-friendly"

Dish actually came with one clamp, would that be suitable to mount it to the motor?

Also, are these l brackets any good for motorised dishes?

OH DEAR:-doh- that clamp bracket on the back of the dish looks like those on the dreaded older TRIAX dishes (of which I have 3!), which means that setting the declination will be a right bitch, especially on a motorised dish, where it has to be exactly vertical when the dish points to your most Southerly satellite.!

As for the the pole clamp U-bolts: Put the existing one in the empty top postion and another in the empty lower and upper positions - with luck you can find car-exhaust clamp U-bolts for the additional ones, or try on ebay for "square U-bolts"

You also need to add similar bolts above and below the existing declination clamping bolt in order to keep the dish vertical, or else it will "slop" from side to side as you try to adjust that.
