Quite surprising; I've been using my DM8000 for several months now and can't remember any problems like that. Can your problem be related to the use of a terrestrial tuner? I have only the two sat tuners. WRT image, being a long time Nabilo fan, I wanted to give Nabilo Darkstar a try but among other things, since it is unsupported, I am now using Peter Pan. I am no PP fan, but what I can say is that it seems to be very reliable. And does what it should do. My only complaint is that the font used in the panel for timer setup is too small. From my normal viewing distance on a 37" set, I have to stretch my neck to read the time data. It always amazes me how firm/software developers neglect to take advantage of available scree space! (Like f.i. Samsung. On my tv, both the audio level bar and the ''Mute' box is displayed at the lower middle of the screen, instead of at one of the sides, still visible enough but 'out of the picture'.) The circular design of the audio level scale of old Nabilo Darkstar, at the right edge of the screen, that is how I like it!
