Working area of the CM120 starts where I put red cross. Visiosat is missing some part at the bottom, so working surface of it is slightly smaller than CM120 has.

Got some 40mm INOX pipe clamps today and piece of pipe (not INOX, to be able to stick magnetic protractor to it). Clamps- for LNBs, of course. And pipe- to install instead of LNB and measure it's angle.

No, it is exactly 40mm (circled red), other-ways clamp would not fit on 40mm pipe. It should not hold 100%, there always should be some space to make join tight. Clamps are 20mm wide and 2mm thick.

OK, partially understood that. But, if you need some help, please, let me know. I will be happy to do my best to assist you in finding pieces you are looking for.

I think I will use one of those 60mm clamps to make universal LNB holder for CM. Universal- means it able to fix not only Ku-band LNB but also C-band. And 40mm metal pipe, as I wrote before, is for measuring on LNB leaning angle.

My last Echostar antenna has dimensions 978 x 978 mm and depth 65,1mm, so, even it looks like offset, but it is PF dish. Great!

I've seen some fully round shaped dishes still being a offset dish .
According the backside , I think it's a offset dish .

Not in this case- antenna's deepest point is 65,1mm and located at the very middle of antenna. Openings angle of this dish is about 60*. Most likely it is for data link not for SAT TV.

Antenna SMW OA 1400:
More or less measured dimensions of the working area and they are 1420 x 1460mm and depth is 191mm. Height can not be as stated in manual 1500mm, no way!
So, by using measured data, calculated rest of the parameters, which are Offset angle 13,4* (13* according to manual), Opening angle of the antenna 112*! Because of the such a big opening angle, any of the standard universal LNBs will greatly undereliminate antenna I would say that using LNB from PFA here is better as it usually has illumination angle about 120*. Would be interesting to get know what are other ovners of this dish solutions for LNB. I already spoke to friend of mine, he uses standard universal LNB on this dish and not satisfied with it performance, I've said to him that LNB is not fit to antenna.

Rima, I am totally agree, personally it's good to use the original feed delivered with the antenna.
At the moment I use a standard lnb and the result is not good but I don't use this antenna a lot since I have other dishes. I will test a PFA LNB as soon as possible.
Thanks

Well, the weather conditions are not good, but between 2 showers, I have replaced the Octagon by an Inverto Black Pro and the Feedhorn delivered with the antenna and it's true, the signal has increase of few dB .
I will check other positions later on weak signals, and also with a PFA Feedhorn.

Today's screenshots with same weather conditions .

Was visiting one chump today and look what I got from him. It is only 75cm but everything very good quality, I mean very solid and INOX nuts&bolts, and made not in China. IMG_20150411_175810 (Large).jpg IMG_20150411_175825 (Large).jpg IMG_20150411_175301 (Large).jpg IMG_20150411_175319 (Large).jpg I also got from him another same brand antenna, but little smaller, perhaps 60sm, also with LNB and mount. Will post some picks later. Those antennas were not main reason I visited him today... he promised me LNB for SMW-OA-1400 "Jumbo". Unfortunately he had only one such an LNB today IMG_20150411_164305 (Large).jpg IMG_20150411_144131 (Large).jpg . He will have more in couple of month and I will have them as well. And if there will be more than several LNBs than another "Jumbo" owners from this forum can speak to me, I promise to be not so selfish to keep all of them ;)

And, BTW, I am very proud of me today..... I was offered 2 SMWxOA-1400 "Jumbo", and I even did not bargain to get them. I simply said to guy: I don't need them!
However, if he was starting from smaller price, I would probable could not resist. :-doh
So, if somebody needs such a dish at price of 50EUR ish, I know the seller.
