I am working on one set for T90 right now. It is some work to do I should say. All the nuts will be changed to made of brass as INOX on INOX sometimes gets problems.

Looks like you need (have?) some CNC-controlled machinery and then you can go into "mass-production"! :D
FWIW, most of the "similar" stuff on ebay (etc.) is absolute plastic c**p - bought a few of those last year before I knew better :(

I've got couple of hundreds of brass M6 nuts today. Man, I like them :), they look like gold and behave on INOX bolts much better than INOX nuts. I think I will be using brass in many joining starting from today ;)
They are more expensive than though

Can we safely conclude, that you have nuts of brass, then? :)

Friend of mine somehow broke elevation control bolt on his Az/El mount of Channel Master 1.8m. I made a new one for him, but, instead of it, I think he will get the original one which I've removed from my CM 1.8m. And this is not because new bolt looks maybe nicer, but mostly cuz I could not get it done in imperial standard. So, instead of original I used M12 thread for nuts&bolts. And combination of INOX and brass will never let parts to stick together.

Have finished and sent out several T90 upgrade kits. Hope that some day happy users will share their experience installing and using them.

I've got new LNB (well, actually LNB is old but feedhorn for it is new). IMG_20170927_175429 (Custom).jpg With this combination getting good reception from Astra 2E @28.5*E. Some transponders are weaker some stronger ScreenHunter_426 Sep. 27 18.17.jpg ScreenHunter_425 Sep. 27 18.15.jpg Will try to monitor signal longer period of time to see average 24h performance.

Scanned all available 65 transponders and got 848 services. Antenna is pointed @28.5*E. Vertical axis shows dB from E2 receiver. Astra2scan.jpg

Hmm, 4.6m is more than 1/2 the width of my garden - glad I don't need one of those here! :D

I have monitored signal from 10714H transponder for more than 24 hours (data taken once per 13 seconds). Difference between maximum and minimum was more than 2 dB. Used old good DM8000 for recording of data. ScreenHunter_437 Sep. 30 11.47.jpg

Can You tell more about this feedhorn modification?
Does this give You 110 degrees?
How much is this better compared to original BU LNB ?

Feedhorn is calculated for 117* illumination. TBH, I do not know how it was calculated and drawn ..... chap from another forum did all the calculations and drawing. I just removed outer ring from IBU cut sheet of brass and made funnel out of it. It is hard to say how much modified IBU better than original one, and I do not think that would be right thing to compare them as one has illumination angle of 80* and another one 117*.

Have received package today. Guess what was inside..... :)
This is something I've been missing. Now at my disposal are 0.35m-0.9m-1m-1.2m-1.8m Channel Master dishes. I think that only 2.4m is missing and, of course some specialized CM VSAT dishes. My goal now it, first of all, to clean this newcomer and then take precise measurements. Secondly, I need to install my Channel Masters at one place and take nice picture of all of them together. And, yes, will also need to catch some signals from satellites, just for fun.
Thanks @malsat for this package.

Some time ago I bought new 1.2m Channel Master dish, it came in the box with new feedarms and plastic bag with screws and LNB-bracket. There was also assembly instructions. I never read any instructions till I really crew something up, then I maybe open and read instructions. But this is not a case here, I just opened plastic bag accidentally and found the paper. There is some useful information printed on it. Especially I am puzzled to see that they had 0.75cm CM dish! Unbelievable! I miss it very much! Maybe somebody have it? I would change it to CM 1.2 dish!
