Long time lurker, have learned many useful things from here over the years in this ever declining hobby and even grabbed a few of the things posted on the bargain big dishes threads. Don't do anything too modern like streaming or catch up, give me a steady sd sat channel over a stuttering, dodgy framerate & supposedly hd stream any day. And don't get me started on 'smart' tvs lol - oz

- IPTV at home, used to have a full set up of dishes for personal use but don’t bother anymore as kids need the space. In the trade part time at the moment but I am thinking of doing it full time soon

Ciaran here. Originally from Ireland
Started out in southern Spain in 2000 fitting Gibertini 1.3m and Channel Masters, mostly fitting sky and the occasional 7w, 26 east I believe and the very odd Hispasat, Astra and Hotbird.
In the UK about 9 years and sick of working for corporate companies sat behind a desk. Over the last few months have been getting educated on changes funnily not much has changed and started to learn about aerials.
I’ve done loads of adding tv in bedroom scenario, fixing signal issues around work time but want to get back in the swing of it. Educated myself on Aerial installations and lots of the background of masts etc.
I might ask some stupid questions regarding aerials but hopefully can support others on Satellites. I’ve been reading the site for a few months and you seem a good set of guys so thought I’d properly sign up
