New mux at 55.5W ?

Hi friends ..
This could just be a 3 channel feed ...but that would be unusual ...so I suspect a new mux opening ..
Intelsat 805 (55.5 West)

Consists of :-
SOI
Pasiones HD
Real Madrid (encrypted)

Tried to get more info ..but the TBS card simply doesn't see it ..
Not sensitive enough I guess ..
Only the F15 can see this one so far

Can anyone else see it ?

SR 7499
FEC unknown

Odd your TBS card doesn't see it, looks like a fairly strong signal.

Just did a search and the only things new to me are:
3735 V 8681
4111 V 1849
4107 V 2960

Just checked again ..and the mux is still there ...

Don't forget I'm only using a 1.5m dish and it is baking here at the minute. I get most of the weaker stuff when it is colder. Also the fig tree might need a bit of pruning again. TBH I haven't played with C-band much lately.

I totally understand Huevos ...
I was really just out for confirmation..before sending a report to lyngsat..
TBH ..I suspect I wouldn't have a chance without the 'wings' and the hi sensitivity of the F15..
But if nothing else ..I think it confirms the wings are at least partially functioning ...and that the F15 is more sensitive than the TBS card.

just had a look - but nothing doing here on that frequency - i didn,t think i had much chance - but "one" has to try
i start losing signal from 50 west onward due to a wall - so i only get the strong t.p,s from this sat

Well just for your info if I do an FTA blind search of 55W it returns 24 transponders at the minute, some of which are 8PSK.

Well even though the F15 reports a good solid lock hi level signal around 9db ..this isn't enough to establish lock on the TBS card ..
Yes the constellation confirms 8psk ...but no lock so no iterrogation of the signal.

Yep ..Lyngsat is for me ..the definitive 'port-of-call' for sat transponder lookups..
Christian is a nice guy ...but there is a lot of competition to get in first with those finds ..
If it weren't for the reports from DX enthusiats the site wouldn't be anything like as good ..
Keep up the good work buddy ...Its nice to see the gaps filled ..even though many are on footprints out of my reach ...its good to know just what's up there.

VS, what's your handle on Lyngsat - ViperSan? I get daily mails and see a lot of regular faces - wouldn't mind DX Bozoth's set up. He gets literally everything from Express AM33 at 96.5E to Thaicom at 78.5E to Intelsat/Galaxy at 55.5W. That's a hell of a reach!
