Has to be Tetley or Lipton Yellow in the soft water here. :)

I got a taste for LY in Poland a few years ago - its about the only tea I'll willingly drink black if I have run out of milk at work. You cant officially buy it in the UK but its available via certain large online outlets. ;)

This is my favourite tipple, it's a composted tea.

And very healthy for you, trouble is it's very expensive. I have to buy buy the kg.

4 Horlicks scoops in a large 1.5l jug, flush them once, and then I can get 3 to 4 good brews.

5 cups in a 1.5l pot.

That's kind, but I wouldn't want anybody to bend over backwards for me.

If I could invent a tea like drink that doesn't require the other half boiling a kettle every 20 minutes, I'd be better off

Yes, we wait until they come up on offer. Sometimes it's the bags of 1100 that are on offer so we'll go for that instead.

Morning Chris......certainly do not fancy that 'foam tea' in your opening post.

Back in the late 70's/80's my favourite tea in the office was:-

Cracking laughter re: the very clever enema post references.........appeals to my sense of humour! :-rofl2

I know when back in the U.K. I regularly heard '.....got to start the day with a bang'...........but this is taking it too far. :D:D

SWMBO likes 'proper' tea, has a vast selection and uses a cast iron Japanese teapot each morning (thankfully it just holds a couple of cups so only requires a block and tackle to lift). When we were on holiday earlier this year, she discovered tea bags you could fill yourself, "filtres a the"

I bought over the past few months all kind of teabags tea packages from the USA (I can't buy any food stuff from the UK the shipment cost is ridiculously outrageous). Twinings has so many types and tastes.
Now I have settled to having Twinings Earl Grey in the morning till 1pm and after that only green tea without caffeine as I have trouble sleeping. At night I drink Twinings Green Tea Nightly Calm which has chamomile tea.
Haven't had a cup of coffee for about ten years. Used to drink at least 8 cups a day.

One of the members of a club I belong to swore by that stuff. He lived to 104 and died only recently. Fortunately I missed his funeral as he was cremated and now there's only a hole in the ground...
