u can't any way load key file of any type to these receiver family and your stb
but where u can find updated key file which called softcam.key and open by wordpad:

I spent the last day converting softwares, and I followed what u wrote in here, and results were more than my dreams. My receiver is Starsat SR-X650CI, and I did not modify it, I uploaded Truman, and then Sonysat 9800 v323. Everything is great, D+, TPS & Polsat. When keys changes I enter new keys and life is wonderful.

Dear Mr. Jacko

I have recently purchased a starsat 550D Ultra Receiver and patched with version 322 (File Name : 20060314_SR-X550D_V322_ULTRA.zip ) from satdw site. The software works perfect, after puting new code, the channels are open.

The actual problem : when we change from one chanel to other, it takes long time to bring the picture and sound. 20 to 30 seconds.

Can you please suggest any other software for this model? I gone through your posts, since I am not much experienced a little bit confused.

Please help me by pointing out some specific solution.

this is a realy problems with all sw after v320
the solution is go back to v320 but u can't open polsat anyway
anpther solution but a not yet tested is use the latest sw for your stb

i have a problem i got a Receiver Starsat SR-X550 Ultra. and i want to upgrade it to latest version . and some ppl say me it can be program to open some scrambled chanells also. but i dont know how to do it correctly. currently i use to watch Hotbird and arabsat only. so can u please advice me to upgrade this receiver? and whare can i downloade all nessacery file. witch one i have to flash first. pls give me a step by step details, your reply is very big help to me.

Yes u should enter keys for TPS(Multivision) manualy by remonte controle as i mentioned in first page

but for to be sure...is it true that we can change my starsat 550D super to 550D ultra..I've donload sw super 321 but it's look like not working at all except AB+ or D+, I want TPS, nagra work again..
so is it ur suggestion to change it to ultra by using Truman then load with current ultra version?
which one the one ULTRA or ultra_s on satdw.com?

so I will try to load ID TRUMAN first and then load sonysat 9500 v324 in next step....right?

1.get right cable and modify it for starsat family
2.get needed softwares"sw"
3.How to upgred it simply

called RS-232 CABLE or called serial ports cable conect tow serial ports
HERE a file show u & explain what u want & what to do after buy it(how to modify:2X3 3X2

How to upgred it simply:
1. unzipped downloaded files:ID TRUMAN & sonysat 9500(unzip using archive programe such this after install program right click on zip file and choose extract)
2. connect pc & receiver"stb" using RS-232 cable (and power on the stb with electricity and shoud be stay work on on any channel not on standby status = clock status) simply connect plug to elctricity only
3.open folder of id truman and double click on file:
simplupload.exe soon will apper window click start
soon will appear small window:
Waiting boob click OK
the loading will begin the screen of stb will counting
watch and wait untill new window apper with:
updat success click OK ofcourse stb will reboot automaticly after stay little on number 99 wait it don't click any thing untill reboot
now by the same way load sw file sonysat 9500
4. now u should searching for channels as follows:
press___menu____installation___then second option___choose satellite & choose search type:all(net)__press ok on option fast or slow or slowest whatever is written___after complete choose tv for saving tv channel only or all what u want
repeat search for other satellites
now to open polsat simply stay on any of polsat channels for neerly 5 minute then change to another ch from out the polsat package then return to polsat channel stay and will open every day the same:this called open autoupdate and its for all nagra2 coded package+ TV CABO MEDIPARK etc
for opening TPS (multivisions)channels and other viaccess 2 coded package:
u should enter keys by remonte controle
all details mentioned on first page
