When I booted up the SX88+ I found that 37.5W had been saved but if there are no channels saved on a satellite in the SX88+ it won't be seen when you press the Sat button on the remote ? You have to go into the menu/fav to find the satellite ? The main information I was after was regarding the SX88+ menus & how to set the receiver up & I understand that most people wouldn't be using a GBOX & DiSEqC 1.2. The satellites I have put in work fine & the dish moves to the right sat. They still worked correctly in the TM7102HD when I checked it yesterday but I may have made a mistake storing the GBOX positions on the SX88+ as its one position ahead of where it should be & I don't know a way of changing it, just as I don't know of a way of skipping a position on the SX88+ ? A few things I have come across which someone may be able to help me with ? (1) On Intelsat 901 27.5 West I have 83% signal quality on the BBC transponder 11.499V but when I go to search the transponder the SX88+ finds nothing & the quality bar shows 0% quality ? When I exit the search the quality bar shows 0% but if I go the another transponder & then back to the BBC transponder it again shows a strong signal. Edit: I just switched to the TM7102HD & it brings in the BBC channels ok. I also found that the quality could be improved using the TM7102HD to peak the dish. Going back to the SX88+ I found that the quality was now 100% but it still didn't find anything ? (2) When adding a transponder the 3rd & 4th settings down are NIT & MTS ? What do NIT & MTS mean ? (3) In transponder search you have "Renew channel Data" ? What does this mean ? (4) How do I do a blind search on a satellite please ? Thanks everyone for your continued help. I really am grateful. Tony.
