Well I had this dish kicking around for a while and as the inlaws are staying I got round to putting to use so they could watch Polsat in the spare room. Its not the ideal mount but hey its Sunday and most shops are closed. As you will see from the pictures the results are what I would consider ok :D

Is that a Cambridge Juno silver LNB by any chance? I stumbled across my old Juno Gold version whilst trying to unearth my satellite installation kit recently, I think the silver was around 1.0dB and the Gold around 0.7 if memory serves. I also recognise the Technomate menu there, I have a 1500 and sometimes have to use it with a Conax CAM to get the monthly update on my card when it mis-behaves.

Neat. For a moment there I thought you'd fixed it to the plastic drain pipe.

I like to see old dishes put to use again, there's so many old Amstrad perforated 90cm dishes from the old $ky channel days still on house fronts still well usable after all these years, a bloody waste mate.

I think of it as recycling.A chap over the road from me has a motorized set up but the lnb arm swings in the wind as its broken.I have offered to take it down for him(so I can repair for myself) but hes not interested. Its been there for years

The new ISS perforated dishes look a lot like old Lenson Heath ones...
