Hi all
Tried to find a place to put this so I added this on Transponders & Channels forum
For many years we have been watching Satellite Feeds but suddenly one of them are gone. Yes they are still transmitting in different states using satellite but not found on any satellite. (YES they are still using satellite not Fibre). I have my suspicion but won't say because I would like the more experience guys to work this out by looking at the uplink. Nothing worst that giving a leading question. I will give you 2 photo's taken by a friend at one of the location. But I have notice the Change in another meeting, could be wrong but I think something has changes thus no feed on any satellite.
Thanks all.

Or better still the Transponder are still there but cant blind scan them to see them and if they cant be blind scanned we think they are missing. What do you think guys?

Check with a spectrum analyser, there is no hiding place for the satellite RF frequency if you use one of those.
If the feeds are showing on a spectrum analyser they could be Novelsat NS3 or NS4 modulation or some type of custom encapsulation such as NSPE or NSPE2

If they are custom encapsulation you should still be able to blind scan the frequency with something like CrazyScan or EBSPro but not able to read the stream.
If they are Novelsat NS3 or NS4 modulation you will probably not be able to blind scan them in a Windows PC. A linux PC with nuemodvb should be able to scan them.

If you provide the satellite details and the frequency that they used to be on then perhaps other members will be able to check for you.
Unless you are willing to share these details it will not be easy for people to help you.

Its possible that they switch to one of four Ka Band to provide feed?

Yes that would be another option.

The original poster needs to provide details of the satellite and frequency that the feed used to be on to get help.
Otherwise everyone is guessing.

Since the his location is Australia, it is probably best to ask the question on the AUSTECH FORUMS (for example, they provided me with a TS for studying MPE from InTechMedia).

If he is in Australia, the main feed satellites are possibly 160.0E, 166,0E, 169,0E and 172.0E
To the best of my knowledge none of those satellites currently carry Ka-Band. However, I would not exclude it completely.

Optus are having issues with the D2 satellite now residing at 160.0E so they moved one of the MeaSat satellites from its previous location to 160.0E.
However, the MeaSat satellite has 45 degrees different skew to the Optus D2 satellite.
All dishes that were previously aligned on the Optus D2 satellite at 160.0E are not aligned for correct skew on the MeasSat satellite unless they have been adjusted, then they are out of skew for D2.

Details of the missing feed are required otherwise we will get nowhere.

Yup we are all wasting our time. unless technical parameters of the missing transmission are given. I'll give the OP a couple of days to give us more details or I'll close the thread.

Been member at Austech for 15 years they dont know or want to keep it quite (not a member of the Clan) but If I disclose it and if its NS 3000 modulation I go against on what the Admin has said not to disclose any hard information so Novelsat wont be on the back of the Admin.

I have two Dishes on 160 Deg E, One on Optus D2 that is starting to die because of the Failure of Launch of NEW Optus 11 so no doubt Optus was in trouble and no doubt they bough or leased Measat 3a and got it from 91.5 E to 160 E and have also now Measat 3a and I know the skew is out by 40 or more degrees.
Well put it this way the Frequencies change ever meeting, CONTINUALLY FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. They go to 12250 to up to 12720, they use H or V, The FEC goes from 3/4 or 2/3 or 3/5 and twice last year they used 4/5 and most of the time the Symbol Rate is 15000 or 15005 or sometime 7500. HELL!!! they even change the Frequency during a add break, (Rarely). This has happened at least 3 times but during days when this is going on they change the Frequency per day (Normal for them) yes encrypted too but we wont go there as they use to change that too.
Regard the Stream , I wont upload that again (have copies) as I have dial up speed that will take over 24 hours to upload 2gig and I expect to have 2 to 3 drop outs.
Here some parts of the country we still use twisted pair cables not like in the UK or Europe to get over 250gig d/l you lucky to get 15gig down load and 5 upload. Were waiting for fibre to the house.
The Reason why I put those to picture up is I want to see if POSSIBLE any member here to recognizes if its Ku or Ka or something else

Yes I know you, your the New Member there. Your talking to Mr Cough , Cought A......V regarding fullTS from the 3880 H transponder on A .............9? Once again I can see the Admin does not want to disclose too much stuff on what were are trying to do but at the same time I dont want to release to much info on what we are trying to do. Trust me the Feed we wants is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Dont know if they wanted to do this.

Pointless topic, the original poster is not prepared to reveal the details of the secret feed that he has supposedly lost but is now saying it is "all over the place"

If the feed is all over the place its not very secret is it? Full disclosure of satellite & last known frequency at the very least or we close the topic.

I'll hazard a guess its a sporting feed used for betting.....

Last time seen it was on Optus D1 at 160 deg but now this sat is dead. D2 was rushed to replace it for New Zealand Sky and even since Measat 3a had to help on 160 at the very same time the car races disappeared but most that I now depending what state you live in they went to the track watched the race and take photos of there OB Van with plenty of Dishes . The last know Frequency was 12726V 15000 3/4 and it was (NOT ON LYNGSAT on the feed section) I bet you watch it on your Sky Pay TV Platform . Its not Gambling FFS.
One member on this Forum know me for 10 Years and vouch for me. Yes he got the Last NS 3000 from the US not long ago.

Is this 'channel' on any other package, perhaps for the Middle East ?

If not then the equiement to watch without a subscription does cross a few boundaries on this (and other ) forum(s) even though you had a feed available down under.

If it is car races as mentioned in post 15 by the O/P it is probably the super cars racing from Australian motor racing tracks.
The usual uplink broadcaster is Sydney Teleport Services and they mostly use feed ID's starting with "STS....."

Has the event ever been part of the Sky (UK) lineup ? If not then carry on.
