Hi, I'm going through a phase of frustration with my first experience with lnb polarity voltage. Until yesterday I used the Corotor and obviously it was time to move on to something more current (180 IRTE PF). The problem comes when, after much tribulation can give a first trim the converter getting 230 tv on SES6 (is the satellite that interests me most) with my Satlink 6936.
When I tried to refine the positioning of the Titanium, the tv with which I use to necessary evidence (3883L Globovision) came and went suddenly during the tests, recalling the frequency spectrum on my Satlink6936 noticed that tp "danced" continuously from left to right cyclically !!!!

When I go to browse a list of TV that I have stored the Satlink 6936 with blind scan known that many tv are stored two and even three times on frequencies that are very close together (dance of tp ??).

Since it is the first time that I approach this type of lnb, wanted to know if someone else has happened the same or if it is a problem of my system.

I made a movie of the spectrum frequencies to better see what happens to me with the Titanium and the difference of the spectrum with my 90cm pointed to Hotbird were the tp are stable.

Thank you in advance for your answers and for your help

..as a rough guess your C1PLL looks like it may be faulty ..and isn't actually Phase Locking..
Possibly The Oscillator is wandering ..therefore the lnb is hunting endlessly within a small range.
If this were happening during a receiver blind scan ...2 or more incidences of the same channel could be captured and locked in.
The only theory that would make any sense to me from your description.

thanks for your answer, I'm trying to have another lnb to make a comparison. I'll keep you informed

Good luck mate ..
hope you get fixed up.

Back in the day when Phase locked systems were use to lock the line scan of a crt tv ..
it wasn't uncommon to see a complete TV image rolling sideways across the screen ..passing through the optimum lock point bu never achieving lock..
Your problem ..I think is something similar...

I remember having a knob on the back of such a TV to stabilise the image!

Good idea, me thinks that the titanium lnbfs are way overrated.

I definitely had better results on the Titanium LNB than I did on the BCS one on the 1.2m. I haven't compared them on the 1.5m despite them being on the dish next to each other! Will swap the depolariser plate and give it a go one day.

I own a titianium pll c band lnbf it has helped me out on my mini bud or micro bud setup. 99w c band I can get most of the channels on that sat. If you have any questions give him a call or send him a email he is a nice guy.

I believe that was for the Vert. Sync CJ when the picture started to roll down.

From reading a couple of US boards and from my own experience I think the Titanium is on a par with the ESX241 but is better than the DMX241 which has been 'retired' from sale. Mine does behave slightly differently to the ESX across the band and seems to be a lot more critical on the plate positioning but can achieve marginally better SQ readings when tweaked. I'm happy with my Titanium and Brian does offer very good customer service so I'd recommend one. The choice of depolarising plate will have a greater effect than choosing either the C1w or ESX.

My titanium lnbf is collecting dust in my garage. I'm using a psi x2 lnbf on my 3m mesh and an esx241 on my 2.4m solid. The titanium had improved results on many tp in comparison but was also much worse on others. I have tested at least 10-15 c band lnbfs over the years and I personally feel its inflated price isn't worth it, jmo.

I see with pleasure that my experience using this lnb arouses a lot of interest among us in the forums, I think it would be helpful if you could show the frequency spectrum of your dish by referring to the same satellite with the same frequencies.
Since I posted the specter of 55.5 ° W we could take to reference this satellite ??

At my location and my pole is to close to the building so I can't get 55w. 99w c band has about 43 1/2 watts here in Indiana.

I'd really like that but until Spring comes that's a no go-pic from my deck today:

For the record, last Monday I wrote at Titanium Satellite exposing my problem with the lnb C1 just received, to my pleasant surprise they answer handing me their apologies and proceeded to send me a new lnb fully at their expense :-biglaugh. I hope this time is working properly and FIVE STAR :-applauseto Titanium Satellite for their attention to the customer.
