Q:Humax lnb142 some say quad some say quattro ?

the configuration i need to realize (*):

first Humax lnb142---first)diseqc centauri 16x1---first)receiver
---second)diseqc centauri 16x1---second)receiver
-----------first diseqc 4x1-------third)receiver
--------second diseqc 4x1--------forth)receiver

second Humax lnb142---first) diseqc centauri 16x1---first)receiver
---second)diseqc centauri 16x1---second)receiver
-------first diseqc 4x1-----------third)receiver
----second diseqc 4x1-----------forth)receiver

is that possible?

what have been tested so far: (*2)

bought only 1 humax lnb142

and done the following

___________ first) receiver working 100%
Humax lnb142 /
\ ------------ second)receiver working 100%

no switches or diseqcs were used


1)does (*2) mean the lnb142 is quad or quattro ?
2)i need to buy 5 humax lnb142 for future plans so i need to know if they will work for sure with the configuration (*) before purchasing them

Yes, that should work ok, and yes it is a quad.


I notice that you have 2 16way switches and 2 4 way. Obviously the receivers connected to the 4 way will only have access to 4 satellites

thanks for your reply,i made this thread because i don't have too much experience but from my reading i suspected that those lnbs where not quattro but quad,although they have the word quattro written on them and the seller says quattro also . . .so i was kind of not absolutely sure and i needed a second opinion

another question ,do you think those lnb are good . . . i mean some claim their noise is only 0.1 ,do they get some close maybe of the inverto ultra some how as quality. . . or do you think there is a lot of difference if compared to those ?
i need them to use them with a dish of 120cm as multiple lnb configuration so some of them might not get exactly a 100% of them, reflected beam,and i need them to be able to work in those conditions
